When Should You Book an End-of-Lease Clean?

Moving out of a rental property can be stressful. Between packing, organising removalists, updating addresses, handing back keys and finalising paperwork, cleaning is often one of the biggest tasks left until the end.

ACT Government guidance says tenants need to provide written notice when ending a tenancy, and Legal Aid ACT notes that rental housing in the ACT is governed by the Residential Tenancies Act 1997.
